This is my fifth major procedure as an American who has lived all over the world in different healthcare provider environments Mr Nair is exceptional along the whole range of services: his team his personality his insight his capability his surgery and his management of outcomes I would encourage anyone with any range of problems that might involve your ology, whether kidney gastrointestinal urinary or any aspect to consult with Mr Nair

I was referred to Mr Nair by my oncologist, who I trust implicitly, so I knew I would be in good hands. A large tumour in your kidney is a scary thing to come to terms with and the diagnosis gives rise to a million questions. Mr Nair explained in simple terms exactly what my treatment would entail, which I was easily able to understand. He happily took my questions and gave me the time I needed to ask them. Mr Nair is clearly a brilliant surgeon, yet he remains down to earth and extremely personable; I felt totally at ease in his care. Unluckily for me this is the second major surgery I have had in 16 years to remove a malignant tumour, the first one in my chest, and this one in my kidney. I have been blessed with amazing surgeons both times, and it really does help with ensuring a positive mindset, which is an essential part of the healing process. Whatever I write would not do justice to Mr Nair and the manner in which he approaches his work - he is simply amazing!

I don’t know how to sing Raj’s praise enough and I won’t be able to on the limited amount of words I have here. After a long and painful miss diagnosis and being bounced around incorrect departments I finally ended up at the urology department at guys. From the first consultation with Dr Nair it was obvious to him I needed an urgent Laparoscopic Pyeloplasty operation to help fix a ureteropelvic junction obstruction that had caused serious on going pain and weight loss for nearly two years. He was incredibly informative and also very aware of just how scared I was in finding out the whole news of the diagnosis. My main phobia is needles let alone a medical procedure and I found Dr Nair to be nothing but helpful and sympathetic to my worries whilst still being very informative. I had the surgery and it was an absolutely life changing success, my life is back to normal now and it’s all thanks to Dr Nair and the fantastic team members he had around him at Guys. Rajesh is an incredibly talented and calm man I would highly recommend. I don’t wish to have to see Dr Nair again in a medical capacity but if I did I would enter the experience with upmost confidence and be a lot more calm and confident about the experience than I previously thought I could be. Words can not thank you enough and I feel incredibly lucky to have been treated by a top class surgen at Guys urology.
